10 Things

  1. I was chosen to read a poem at St. John's Writer's Workshop (late 80's/early 90's). While there, I met author Robert Cormier (1925 – 2000), who asked me about my poem. I explained how I came up with this style wherein the last word of each line was the same as the first word of the next line and so on until the last word of the poem is the same as the first. He said he didn't think it would work. My nerves quadrupled. After the reading, he called me over to tell me he was wrong - it did work.
  2. My Net Neutrality illustrations have appeared in several online articles, including Wired Magazine's blog (as did a photograph I took of Bono!).
  3. I worked as a grip on The Specials written by James Gunn, as well as on some of his X-box/web series including Sparky & Mikaela and  PG Porn - you can even see me in a couple shots of High Poon with Alan Tudyk. (See above video.)
  4. I was once an extra in a music video directed by Lloyd Kaufman. Blink and you'll miss me!
  5. In 2007 a snippet from an essay I wrote on the future of heroism was included in a Martin Firrell art installation in London.
  6. I designed and built the mind blowing Terra Umbra for Scarlett Amaris and filmmaker/documentarian Richard Stanley.
  7. I was a Runner-Up in the first-ever Purina Cat Chow Correspondent Contest.
  8. I assisted on the interior design/renovation of Kevin Smith's SModCastle - the first-ever podcast theater and was a returning onscreen audience member for his show Spoilers season 1. (Last row, second one in from your left.)
  9. In 2012 I published my first book, In The Now, a memoir available at:
  10. Lastly, I recently finished writing, Saurimonde, a supernatural erotic fiction series with Scarlett Amaris, and have many projects in the works including: a sequel to Saurimonde, a follow up to In The Now, called Medicated, and a sci-fi epic called, Xodus.
